    Introducing "Talmud for Beginners".  Delve into the text. Explore the commentaries. Challenge your mind. Discover how Talmudic teachings have practical relevance in your life today.

    In this introductory course to Talmud study we will:
    • Explore the rich history of the Oral Tradition (the Mishna, etc.) Study Class
    • Break down the structure and layout of the Talmud
    • Introduce some of its famed personalities
    • Elucidate basic Talmudic terminology and style
    • Study a sample of original text
    • Understand and discuss the Talmud's modern relevance

    No fluency in Hebrew, Aramaic, or Talmudic dialectic is necessary.

    Six week session begins on Monday, October 26, 11am
    (Classes will be recorded for those who can't make the time).
