In Light of the Fires

One year ago, Sonoma County was hit with the most destructive fire in California history. So many were affected by the fires. Many lost homes, some lost their very lives. In the direct aftermath of the fires, we banded together to be #SonomaStrong in support of our neighbors, colleagues, and even those we did not know. It is a period of time that the Sonoma County Community will remember forever.

Now, one year later, where does that leave us? What message can we take from this experience? How do we cope with loss? Are natural disasters really "natural"? Why does life test us? How do we achieve true recovery?

Rabbi Shais Taub, noted orator and expert on trauma recovery and Jewish mysticism, will address these topics in an exclusive seminar on October 16th.

@ Sonoma State Student Center Ballroom • 1801 E Cotati Ave, Rohnert Park, CA 94928

    Tuesday, October 16th, 7:00pm

    $10/Person • Sponsorships available
