JUDAISM 101
4 Mondays beginning January 15th 6pm
@ Chabad Jewish Center • 205 Keller St. #101
Have you heard stories of Abraham and Moses, but not entirely clear on the historical evolution of the Jewish people? Do you feel like you might just need a guided tour to familiarize yourself with the basics of Judaism?
Ever wanted to know how to affix a mezuzah on your door? What does "Kosher" mean? Why do we eat Latkes and what are the ins and outs of Shabbat? What does it really take to be Bar Mitzvah’d?
Well, if the answer to any of the above questions is "yes" then this class is for you! Judaism 101 is a four course series aiming to cover the basics of Judaism, – its practices, relevance and meaning. We will cover history, Torah, Mitzvahs, Jewish lifecycle events, and much more.
Each 60 minute class will include an overview, fun facts, a takeaway, and a Q&A session.
Fee: $49
